It is hard to believe that another year is coming to an end, and that your precious toddlers are another year older!
It has been a busy year for Toddler Sense. The updated edition of Toddler Sense was launched in October. The new edition contains new and exciting chapters on Sensory Personalities, Healthy Toddler Nutrition, Fussy Eating, Solving Toddler Sleeping Problems and Identifying Learning Problems from a Young Age. A gremlin crept in with the first print run, and all the latest research references were mistakenly left out! Click here to access the reference list.
The PediaSure Toddler Sense Seminars held in association with TOPTOTS were held in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and Durban and were a sell-out success. Thanks to all the wonderful moms, dads, grannies, carers and God parents who attended – it was wonderful to meet you all! The theme of the 2011 seminars was “Wisdom with Sense” and Annemarie Lombard, Renee Lighton and Lynette van Wyk spoke with so much passion and wisdom on the topics of sensory intelligence, play and stimulation and getting back to basics in this mad world we live in. It was an honour to work with them. Thank you to all our valuable sponsors, Abbott nutrition, Floradix, Nestle, Media 24, Metz Press and Pick n Pay, as well as all our prize sponsors. Special thanks to Liz from the Enzi chair who sponsored a prize of an Enzi chair at each seminar and Lalibela Game Reserve, Protea Hotels, Umthunzi Lodge and City Lodge who generously sponsored a family getaway for each region.
